A connection stores one repository and its credential, encrypted at rest — the platform never returns the secret again. Once connected, launch a run straight from any branch, tag, or commit on the New run page: pick From repository, choose a ref, and go. Prefer a read-only access token or deploy key — the credential only needs to clone. Supported: forgejo, gitea, gitlab, github.
